Die Spezifikation und die Dokumentation stehen unter der Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Lizenz. Die Schemas, die Release-Metadaten, die Referenzimplementierung, die Conformance Suite und die Beispiele stehen unter der Apache License 2.0. Beide Lizenztexte sind unverändert unter /LICENSES/CC-BY-4.0.txt und /LICENSES/Apache-2.0.txt veröffentlicht, die Zuordnung steht in LICENSE.md.
